Format of Templates
Please check the file format of the content you are interested in before purchasing. Unless stated otherwise, all content is in Microsoft Word (.docx) format, although some content will be in Microsoft Excel (.xlsx), Microsoft PowerPoint (.pptx) or Adobe Acrobat (.pdf). Customers are responsible for ensuring they have access to the correct software applications for the purchased content: we cannot refund purchases if the correct software is unavailable.
Purchasing Templates
All documents and templates can be purchased from our website (www.northdownsystems.co.uk). Once your payment has been successfully received, the ordered templates will be dispatched to your inbox without delay. Because of the immediate nature of our electronic delivery, regrettably it is not possible to return or refund incorrect orders unless we have made an error in delivering the correct document contents to you.
Payment Options
Customers can securely pay for document templates by Paypal, Apple Pay, Google Pay or debit/credit cards using Wix Payment. Payment services are provided in accordance with each payment provider's respective privacy statements - see our Privacy Policy for details and links to each provider. Northdown Systems does not see your payment details (e.g. account details or card information): we simply receive a confirmation that an order has been successful.
Customising Templates
Throughout our portfolio of document templates, we have used 'NAME' to indicate where you should add your own business or organisation name into each document. Content is frequently highlighted in yellow where you will need to add specific information about your business activities. Whilst our templates have been used to support many different business sectors and activities, each customer has the responsibility for customising them to their own requirements.
Adding In Review Cycles
Controlled documents such as policies and procedures need to be reviewed on a regular basis, typically annually or more frequently if changes have occurred. On each document, you should add a section at the end describing the date of the current version and when it will be reviewed next. There are different ways of approaching review cycles, including automated 'document management' software features, so this needs to be a customer-specific addition.
